Consent storage

The site stores a first-party consent record in your browser so your preference can be applied on later visits.

Current posture

Optional analytics and advertising storage are denied by default until you choose otherwise.

1. What this policy covers

Lotto Facts is an informational product for historical lottery lookups. It is built around a static Astro frontend and AWS-hosted application services. This policy covers the website pages, the exact-match lookup tool, the quick lookup tool, and the consent controls made available on the site.

2. Data processed when you use the site

When you browse the site, standard web request data can be processed by infrastructure services such as content delivery, application routing, and hosting logs. That can include information like your IP address, browser details, referrer, timestamps, and requested URLs.

When you run a lotto lookup, the numbers you enter and the game you choose are sent to the application so the archive can return matching historical results. The site is designed as a lookup product rather than an account-based service, but standard infrastructure and operational logs may still record request metadata.

3. Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies

Lotto Facts currently uses first-party browser storage to remember your privacy choice. The consent record is stored under a local storage key so the site can keep optional analytics and advertising storage disabled until you change that setting.

The site currently treats storage in three categories:

  • Essential storage: required for core site behavior, security, routing, and remembering your consent choice.
  • Analytics storage: reserved for future measurement tools that help understand page usage and product performance.
  • Advertising storage: reserved for future ad serving, measurement, and monetization tooling.

4. Consent choices

Optional analytics and advertising storage are denied by default. You can accept all, reject optional storage, or choose categories individually through the consent interface. You can reopen those settings at any time using the cookie settings control in the footer or the button at the top of this page.

The site also prepares Google Consent Mode-style consent signals for future analytics and ad tags, so later integrations can respect your saved preference from the first page load.

5. Advertising and analytics

The current frontend includes reserved ad placements, but paid advertising scripts are not enabled by default. If analytics or ad providers are added later, they should only load in line with the consent choice you make through this site.

If the site adopts Google publisher products for EEA, UK, or Swiss traffic, a certified publisher CMP may still be required in addition to this site-level consent manager.

6. Legal bases and user rights

Where privacy laws apply, the site may rely on consent for optional analytics or advertising storage, and on legitimate interests or necessity for essential site operation, fraud prevention, security, and service delivery. Your available rights vary by jurisdiction, but may include access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, portability, and the ability to withdraw consent.

7. International transfers and third-party processors

Depending on the hosting, CDN, logging, analytics, or advertising providers used, data may be processed in countries outside your own. Where that happens, the operator should rely on the provider's contractual and regulatory safeguards that apply to the service.

8. Retention

Consent choices remain in your browser until you clear them, change them, or remove browser storage. Operational logs and provider-side data retention depend on the service configuration used by the operator and the relevant provider.
